Fysiko Eyelash Growth Serum Initial Review* #10

Hey lovelies!!!!  Its review time.

I love all things in healthy growth and even more when it comes to my hair and eyelashes. So when I got a chance to test a new product I was all for it. My eye lash may appear thin at first but when I put mascara on with out false lashes they appear to be full and thick. I want this effect with out having to add mascara.

Prices: 139.00$ 8ml (0.27oz)

I know I know for this price this product better make my lashes grow to the floor. (lol) But if your looking for a all natural alternative with no ingredients that you have no clue what your putting near your eyes. Well this is the best bet. I read that their is only one other company that sells something similar named Latisse and Fysiko has a butter deal without the doctors note. When I went on Latisse website to do some research you need a doctor's note, pay a monthly prescription, and then some! You basically need a medical reason to get longer lashes. Whereas Fysiko gives you a carefree bottle that will last you 6 months that's damn near your moneys worth. When you break it down you only paying about 25$ a month which is definitely not bad at all.

Directions: Using Fysiko Eyelash Growth is easy.
-Use Fysiko Eyelash Serum once ( maximum twice) a day at bedtime.
-Use brush to apply a line of product along the roots of the upper lash line.
-Use sparingly; only a small amount of product is necessary for each application.
-Using more and more often can cause temporary irritation.
-If using eye makeup remover prior to application, rinse the eye area with warm water to neutralize and wait until eyelashes are fully dry before applying product.
-Remove contact lenses before applying. If applied in the morning put contact lenses on in 10-15 min after Fysiko Eyelash Serum application.
-If desired, also apply product to clean eyebrows at bedtime.

Active ingredients:
-Bio-Peptides and Amino Acids: Help to repair and strengthen fragile eyelashes and eyebrows.
-Vitamin E, Olive oil, Thyme, Biotin, Soy Protein: Natural lash enhancers.
-Sodium Hyaluronate: Promotes hydration and helps eyelashes and eyebrows appear shiny and strong.
-Methylamido Dihydro Noralfoprostal: Promotes healthy lash follicles for full growth potential.
-Panthenol: Helps eyelashes and eyebrows last longer by making them more flexible.

Ingredients: Water, Glycerin, Hydrolyzed Glycosaminoglycans, Panthenol (Vitamin B5), Vitis Vinifera (Grape) Seed Extract, Sodium Lactate, Panax Ginseng Root Extract, Proline, Yeast Extract, Phenoxyethanol, Biotin, Hydrolized Soy Protein, Chamomilla Recutita (Matricaria) Flower Extract, Hexapeptide-11, Niacinamide (Vitamin B3), Thyme extract, Palmitoyl Pentapeptide-4, Arcyostaphylos Uva Ursi (Bearberry) Leaf Extract, Olve Oil, Sodium Hyaluronate,Magnesium Ascorbyl Phosphate (Vitamin C), Retinyl Palmitate (Vitamin A), Tocopheryl Acetate (Vitamin E) Polysorbate 20, Hydroxyethylcellulose, Sorbitol, Triethanolamine, Methylisothiazolinone, Methylamido Dihydro Noralfaprostal.

Warning:This product is not FDA approved.
-This formula should not be used by those who are pregnant, nursing, actively undergoing chemotherapy, or under the age of 16. This product hadn’t been tested on pregnant, nursing, or under aged customers.

Promises:

Wash day @ 34 weeks post

Hey Ladies
I just want to let you know since the weather is dry here in Nevada I might go back to co washing weekly to see if that will help with the dryness/moisture loss that I am experiencing.
Friday I sat in front of my hair stash for about a hour thinking really hard about what I use in my hair. What will help this weather and what will add to it. Reading labels and organizing my stash to see what I use on a regular basis and what I can store for later. I've come to realize that I have a serious product addiction, but I'm okay with it!!!
Here's how today's wash day went....
• Pre pooed with Ynobe shops Pre poo Treatment adding a little Avocado oil. I left this one for I think 3 hours while I vacuum and shampooed the carpet.
• Shampooed with a sample newbie that I got to test out before that start selling it the Purgasm shop.  I shampooed with this 2x and it gave my hair excellent slip and so much moisture!!! Rinsed in lukewarm water.
• Use Roux 619 Moisture Treatment for about 2 minutes while I worked it in. Rinsed with lukewarm water.
• Deep Conditioned with my STAPLE Aunt Jackie's in control. Did I tell y'all how much I love this conditioner. I added coconut oil, Tea Tree oil, Jojoba oil, Avocado oil, and CHI. This I left on with heat for about a hour and a half an hour to cool down. Rinsed in cool water. The I t-shirt method with one of my daughters old burping cloth thats a 100% cotton. Once I soaked up the extra water I detangled and because of the awesome poo bar I had hardly any shed hair. I then proceeded to dust my ends because I haven't trimmed my hair since September of last year (*hangs head down in shame* I know I know)
• Applied my leave-ins which started with Aunt Jackie's Knot on My Watch, mist with Shea Moisture Coconut & Hibiscus Hold & Shine Moisture Mist, Moisturize with a newbie called "Mozeke" Coconut Kokum Hair Milk, and last sealed with Honey Curls Hair Honey Oil Blend that I got in my Curlkit( don't get me started on that thing). The Mozeke and Honey Curls I will be moisture and sealing with these to all week to see how they do in my hair.
• Last with another newbie that I got on sale at Walmart for 4$. I used this to set my rods with. It's by Giovanni, the Natural Mousse Air-Turbo Charged Hair Styling Foam. Since this is a more natural product I want to see if this will dry out my hair like the Motions.
But that was my wash day pretty pleasant!! Thanks for reading!

Dr. Woods Naturals* Review #9

Happy Friday Guys!!!!

Okay I think I have falling in love. I'm going to tell you guys up front that I give this product a A+

Dr. Woods Naturals Daily Exfoliating Facial Cleanser & Lavender Castile Soap.

Price: Varies
The 2 places that I was told that you can purchase is Whole Foods & vitacost.com !

Promises/ Philosophy: We want to feel good in all ways – from what we put on our skin or in our body, to how we treat others and our environment. We want to feel special and indulged, without being wasteful of robbing future generations of our natural resources.
That’s why we strive to use only the most natural, effective and sustainable ingredients we can find.
We make everything here in the USA, but search the world sourcing the finest ingredients for our products to create a brand we believe in… a brand that makes a difference by doing what’s right for you, your family and our planet.

Packaging & Texture: First you can not see whats in the bottle or the amount that you use. but the bottle definitely goes with the label so that's alright. The pink and brown goes so well to gather reminding you of a very decorative home decor for a single females home. The texture is thick like hand soap with a slight dark tint to it. It is scented but it is light not strong and overbearing. It gives your face a light fragrance smell.

My Review: When I used this face wash I accidentally poured to much in my hand so when I went to lather it took a while to get all off because it lather so good and so easily. So you may want to use a pea size amount when using it because it doesn't take a lot to lather which is a absolute definite plus in my book. After about two weeks of use I'm starting to see my t-zone clearing up and I'm not breaking out on my problem areas. It has really helped to clear up my skin with regular use. It also leaves my face smooth & moisturized, but a little tight. But I know that it did it job of helping minimizing my pores and such. The bottle is beautiful, I love the blend of the two colors. I really like the easy lather making it so simple. The soap I haven't had the chance of using yet but if it's just like the liquid I can't wait to try it. but it does smell absolutely lovely!!!!

Will I be Repurchasing? Yes it is now a part of my skin care regimen! I'm really in love with this cleanser!

Wash Day @ 33 weeks Post.

Hey ladies
Here's how today's wash day went:
1. Pre poo with a newbie I bought form Ynobe Shop. I pre pooed with this only for a half and hour under heat because my kids wouldn't let me sit in peace!!! Rinsed it out in warm water and when I did my hair felt soft like butter. I loved it, but I want to try it a couple of tries before I give it my stamp of approval.
2. Shampooed with the sample Hydratherma Naturals SLS Moisture Plus Hair Cleanser shampoo mixed with a little Garlic Shampoo 1x. Then my Joico K-pak color therapy shampoo 1x. Rinsed in warm water.
3. I used CHI Infra Treatment thermal protection treatment for 5 minutes and then washed it out. The reason I uses this is to see if it would help with this Vegas weather. The heat is so dry so the moisture easily gets such out. I'm starting to notice breakage and I'm doing my best to keep my hair off my shoulders, moisturize & seal, and keeping my bonnet on at night to keep the breakage at bay. But since I've been here keep moisture in my hair is not working!!!
4. Deep conditioned with Elasta QP Soy Oyl Ultra Hydration Deep Conditioner, The last bit of my Aussie 3 Minute Miracle, a little bit of Aubrey's Balancing Conditioner, a little bit of Roux Moisture Treatment, and my arsenal of oils. Rinsed out well in warm water.
5. Added leave-ins which consistented of Roux Treatment & Shine Dual Action Moisturizing Leave-in treatment for drt hair(I use this to help with the lack of moisturize my hair has).  My Aunt Jackie's Knot on My Watch Detangler. I then detangled my hair. Sprayed my hair with Shea Moisture Thick & Curly Moisture Mist, sealed with Avocado oil, and then coated with Darcey's Botanical Peach Kernel Hydrating Milk. Now with this I used everyday in my moisture & seal process and its okay not really a big whoop. When I did my rod set last week I used this as my last step in my L.O.C. process instead of the Komaza Hair Lotion and my hair felt heavy with product instead of light when I used the Komaza. I will see how my hair feels after this rod swt and then make my decision if I want to keep it or chuck it.
5. Last I roded my hair with my yellow rods and used my Motions wrapping lotion to give it a hold.
As for the pics the first one at the bottom is when I took the rods out monday. Even when I tried to plucked them out they still did pop, they just layed there heavy with product. The second pic is my hair on Friday when I woke up. The last pic was my style for Friday. I just pinned down the back and put on a head band.

Review #8: Herbal Body Blessings*

Hi Wonderful People!
I hope everyone is enjoying their week.

The post is a review on a skincare business that is on the up and up in the beauty would. They have been making goods since 2006 making them a Veteran to our natural small businesses. This brand has a variety of body goodies on their site ranging from Bath salts to Spa accessories. They are also on every social media site so check out the links at the bottom of the page!!!

Island Coconut Body Butter 4oz- $8.50, 8oz- $12.50

Promises- Our body butter are all comprised of a bountiful blend of cocoa butter, shea butter, grape seed oil, and vitamin E. The cocoa butter, shea butter, and grape seed oil are the ultimate natural moisturizers for your skin.

They are recommended to help treat a variety of skin conditions from ultra dry skin, stretch marks, burns, eczema and dermatitis.

Packaging- The butter I received came in a tin like a lip balm tin. It was sealed with a easy to take off plastic so the can won't come a loose. The label is well thought of making it visible and hard for it to smear of come off when your hands are greasy from using the butter.
Texture- The coloring is light like coconut oil and  it also melted like it to. It was easily spreadable which I like, making it easy to use a little at a time.  It didn't feel like it was over loaded with a lot of ingredients just make it sound good.
Overall when I first received my package it was hard to take off because at first I didn't notice that the butter was running while i was taking the cap off after I took off the plastic. When I did get it off my butter was half melted do to the heat from the Vegas weather. Which is totally understandable because that something they can not control. Its not gonna stop me from using a butter I'll tell you that. I waited a day so it could get hard again before I tested out on my skin. When it did it smooth over my skin like a true butter. Will I be re purchasing, I definitely would because this product was all that and then some from the package to the smell. My Grade A+

Wash Day @ 32 Weeks Post

Hey Beautiful People!!

Here's how today wash day went.

This wash day I prepared my hair with a overnight prepoo by basing my scalp in oil using my Crazy Naturals oils adding avocado & tea tree oil. The length of my hair I spritz with aloe Vera juice and then coated it with  Aubrey's Balancing Conditioner.  Then lock all that in with Virgin Coconut Oil. Once I got in the morning I thoroughly rinsed the mixed out. But when I first touched my hair I could tell that putting the coconut oil over top of everything that it really penetrated my strands! !
Then I shampooed my hair 1x each with my Garlic Shampoo & my Joico K-pak color therapy shampoo. Rinsed that out. After that I put Roux Moisture Treatment on and then Shea Moisture Deep Treatment Masque on to of that because of the all nighter protein treatment from the Aubrey's. My hair felt strong but not in the hard way that you get from Aphogee Protein Treatment. My hair felt like it need the moisture to balance it out. Rinsed that out. I then wrapped my hair in a t-shirt for about 5 minutes while I loaded and unloaded the washer and dryer.
I detangled my hair as thoroughly as possible before I add my Aunt Jackie's Knot on My Watch, but this time I let it sit for a few minutes. This really helped to soften my hair up and loosen up my hair so I could easily comb out my dead hair. I then greased my scalp with my anti-itch mix, spritz with my moisture mist and then sealed that with jojoba oil. I didn't use the Komaza Hair Lotion this time even though I still have a little left, I wanted to try one of my new moisturizer. So I used Darcy's Botanical Peach Kernel Hydrating Milk as my last step. I then rolled my hair with my rods and Motions wrap lotion. I really like this style as a protective style cause my hair is off my shoulders and its very easy to moisturize.

Again this was a very simple wash day!!

Mid Week Co wash

Hey ladies
As I stated in my last post I was going to co wash and redo my curls. But I am on a mission for a good curl refresher so I won't have to do this again. My hair did stay moisturized buy doing my sealing process. So thats a plus.

Now with the Shea Moisture Co wash it is brand new and I had it month or so before I moved. So now was a perfect time to test it out. I massaged it for about 3 minutes making sure it coated all my strands. Then let it sit for another 5 minutes before washing it out. Now it says its color safe but I did see the color bleeding a little when rinsing it out in warm water. But once I rinsed it out my hair did feel really soooft!!!!.

Now for the process of how I seal in moisture to my hair. I first detangled my hair with my shower comb. Then I applied my leave-in/detangler Aunt Jackie's Knot on My Watch and detangled a little more. Spritz my hair with my moisture mist.      S/C I went to moisturize my hair last night and found my whole bottle of Shea moisture mist had emptied out on my dresser.  I was extremely upset that I was snapping at everyone.  Thats my second bottle in 3 months. The first one I had to throw away at the airport and now this.

Left to Right-ORS Anti-itch Scalp oil w/ Simply Organics Jamaican Black Castor oil, Shea Moisture Co-Wash Conditioning Cleanser, Shea Moisture Hold & shine Moisture Mist, Motions Extra Firm Hold wrapping Lotion, Aunt Jackie's Knot on My Watch, & Komaza Care Shea Butter Hair Lotion

Anyway I sealed that in with a mixture of jojoba oil and the sample of Komaza Hair Lotion that I have. Last I applied my Motions wrapping lotion and finished everything by letting my hair air dry.

My Children's Hair Regimen

Hey Guys
If you read my bio you should know that I have 3 kids. They're current ages are 8 months, 22 months, and 6 years old. I have two boys and my last was a girl. Anyway my oldest has a low cut, my middle son has individual plaits, and my little girl will not let me do anything to her hair except put a head band on her hair.
Their regimen is really simple because of the simple fact that they are young and will not let me do to much to there hair. So it's a miracle if my son will let me do his head. So I basically have to try to do it while he's sleeping or while he's watching his favorite Mater cartoon. I know he's almost 2!!! My daughter on the other hand will not let me comb her hair but will let her daddy do it. She will let me wash and moisturize it so that okay with me.
As stated in my last post since I moved I CANNOT keep moisture in my hair. So the same goes for them. So to help keep it in there I wash a couple times a week and when I don't I spray their hair with a moisturizer, seal with a oil of choice, and lock it in with a cream. (L.O.C. method)
Now for the products that I use is the Shea moisture line:
•Mango & Carrot Kids Extra Nourishing Shampoo w/ Orange Blossom Extract
Coconut & Hibiscus Kids •Extra Moisturizing Detangler & Curling Butter Cream both w/ Slippery Elm Marshmallow Extract.
Right now it's working for there hair!! I will do a review on these products because they honestly do work for their hair! But I am open to try new things so if you have any suggestions, please leave a comment below!!!
Thanks for reading!

Wash Day @ 31 Weeks Post

Hey guys,
Here's how Saturdays wash day went. Just one of those lazy days!

  • Pre-pooed with Aubrey's organics GPB Balancing conditioner & Shea Moisture Volumizing conditioner (no oils) for about a hour and 45 minutes while I went to Sam's club to get get some groceries for dinner. I just put a plastic cap on and used my scarf that was in my Dekem Diva's box. I think I'm going to stick with the way I used the Aubrey's to see if that's what gave me the extra shedding or not. Rinsed in luke warm water.
  • Shampooed 1x each with my Garlic Shampoo & Joico K-pak. Rinsed in cool water.
  • Deep conditioned with the last bit of my (:() Aunt Jackie's In control, Shea moisture deep treatment masque, Roux Moisture Treatment, threw a little Aubrey's in, avocado oil, tea tree oil, vitamin E oil, & my crazy natural oils. Rinsed in cool water. T-shirt method just to soak up excess water, followed by detangling with my shower comb.
  • Applied my Aunt Jackie's Knot on My Watch, well i kinda saturated my hair with it and did a little more detangling. Spritz my hair with Shea Moisture Curl Mist, sealed with jojoba oil, and then coated that with my sample of Komaza Hair Lotion. I've been using this for about a week and still have half a bottle left. I'm trying to see if my hair likes it enough to add it as a rotating moisturizer.
  • I roded my hair again. After I applied all my leave-ins I added the Motions Wrapping Lotion and then got to work. When I felt my hair getting a bit dry I spritzed it with the Shea Moisture.

I had a little more shedding then last time. I think because my hair was extra dry this week. It seem for the life of me I could not get any moisture to stick to my hair until the day before wash day. I received a 2 oz sample from Komaza and right now it is giving me the extra moisture that I need when I put it in the right order in my sealing method. Also I think I'm going to co-wash in the middle of the week and re-curl my hair because last week they frizzed fast. Another thing I still do grease my scalp but I use a mix of anti-itch scalp oil and the Jamaican Black Castor oil mixed together in a applicator bottle. Sorry I don't have anymore pics of my curls!!

Review #7: Crazy Natural*

Hey guys
This is another post that got pushed back due to me moving and not having all of my boxes. *sigh*
But anyway this company is on every social network, making it not very hard to find them. I either seen them first on Facebook/Twitter i don't remember. But a few emails later I received a parcel containing some natural goodies. This is definitely a small business you would want to check out so click the links below for more info!

African Black Soap Beauty Bar- 4.00$

Promises & Ingredients: Indulge yourself in Africa's best kept beauty secret. crazy naturals Black Soap beauty Bars are made with only the purest ingredients. Black soap's beauty benefits are endless. Dried plantain skins rich in vitamin's A & E, great for diminishing the appearance of scars, stretch marks and uneven skin tones. Palm Leaves & Cocoa Pod Powder penetrates dry skin leaving it revitalized, soft and supple.

My Review: I always want to try this soap. It lathered up nicely, but just make sure not to get none in your eyes cause it burns like crazy. I used this in substitute for my other bar in my skincare routine. Right before I put on my mask. It was not drying at all which is a plus. I want to give it a couple more weeks to see if it clears up the break out i have on my t-zone area.

All In One Hair, Bath, and Body Oil- 8oz 8.00$

Promises & Ingredients: Crazy Naturals All in one oil is perfect for dry damaged skin and hair, both relaxed and naturals can benefit from its wonderful effects. Made with olive oil and jojoba for moisture. Glycine to soften and tame even the wildest crazy hair. Grape seed oil to restore vitamins and nutrients. Coconut and almond oil leaves your hair feeling silky and satin soft.

My Review: I loved that the bottle was put in a applicator bottle making it easy for me to apply to my scalp and also distributing out a little oil at a time. I used this mainly to help seal my moisturizer in and applying directly to my scalp.

Shea Body Butter- 4oz  8.00$

Promises & Ingredients: This creamy rich Shea butter is by far my favorite all purpose product. Made with raw African Shea Butter, almond oil, olive oil, apricot oil, jojoba oil, vitamin E and a slew of other natural ingredients. Great for dry hair, skin, and scalp. This product will leave you feeling moisturized, silky smooth, and smelling good.

My Review: I used this just like i use any of my butters. Right when I get out the shower. But with this butter i don't use to much because of the thick consistency or I'll be slipping and sliding all over the place. But you can tell that its rich with oil just by the look and I absolutely love that.

Package: The soap bar was packaged in plastic with the company logo on the front. The logo is of a kinky afro for our naturalista out there. The oil in a squirt bottle for easy application and the Shea in a jar with the company logo on top.

Texture: The soap bar is natural with the bump and all. Brown in call and smelled good. The oil is just like you natural oil and the Shea butter is whipped nicely and is smooth. The smell of the Shea butter is light and but still thick like the raw Shea butter it self.

Overall for the items you receive the price is excellent! Will I be repurchasing these products? Definitely especially the Beauty bar!

My Grade- A+
