My Children's Hair Regimen

Hey Guys
If you read my bio you should know that I have 3 kids. They're current ages are 8 months, 22 months, and 6 years old. I have two boys and my last was a girl. Anyway my oldest has a low cut, my middle son has individual plaits, and my little girl will not let me do anything to her hair except put a head band on her hair.
Their regimen is really simple because of the simple fact that they are young and will not let me do to much to there hair. So it's a miracle if my son will let me do his head. So I basically have to try to do it while he's sleeping or while he's watching his favorite Mater cartoon. I know he's almost 2!!! My daughter on the other hand will not let me comb her hair but will let her daddy do it. She will let me wash and moisturize it so that okay with me.
As stated in my last post since I moved I CANNOT keep moisture in my hair. So the same goes for them. So to help keep it in there I wash a couple times a week and when I don't I spray their hair with a moisturizer, seal with a oil of choice, and lock it in with a cream. (L.O.C. method)
Now for the products that I use is the Shea moisture line:
•Mango & Carrot Kids Extra Nourishing Shampoo w/ Orange Blossom Extract
Coconut & Hibiscus Kids •Extra Moisturizing Detangler & Curling Butter Cream both w/ Slippery Elm Marshmallow Extract.
Right now it's working for there hair!! I will do a review on these products because they honestly do work for their hair! But I am open to try new things so if you have any suggestions, please leave a comment below!!!

My Skincare

Just wanted to tell you all how glorious my skin feels right now.

Well I've always been an advocate face washer. I regularly use st. Ives face scrub any particular kind, but it tended to make my skin dry even with my moisturizer. My last cleanser that I tried was the L'oreal go 360 clean. Every time I'd wash my face no matter how hard I tried I would get it in my eyes and let me tell you it would burn terribly bad. I left it alone and just stuck with the St. Ives. I still have about 1/4 left of the product which I'm going to use to strictly clean off my make-up until I find another product from them that I like. Probably a moisturizer.

I'm trying to stay away from products with sulfates or any harmful ingredient that does damage.
So I did my research and was really drawn in by kinkycurlycoilyme.com where she talks about black soap. She uses a kind that she gets in a big bulk. So I went looking for some. I have been wanting to try Ambi and when I seen that they have a black soap w/ shea butter, I had to try it.
I also been using facial masque which have been making my face feel really refresh and new!! For my moisturizer I use cocoa butter and add some oils to it!

Box braid Regimen

Just wanted to share how I'm taking care of my hair while its in a box braided protective style.
I make sure to keep my braids moisturize by spraying my braids with my Hawaiian 14 n 1 conditioner. Seal with my blend of oils, water, and my leave-in conditioner. Then using my Cantu to lock all the good ol moisture in. I do this to make sure the my hair is penetrated an able to with stand the weather and any styles that I do.
I did do a co-wash because I didn't wash my braids and they were making my scalp itch really bad. I did a apple cider vinegar rinse, a black tea rinse, and then left my V05 moisturizing conditioner on for the reminder of my shower. I wrap my had up in a t-shirt and left it on until the water was all soaked up.
I also bought a scalp spray that contains all nature oils to help with the itching and it's been doing its job so far. I only apply it 1-3 times a week when needed. I added vitamin E to my JBCO and apply that to my scalp every other day.
Most importantly is to still wrap your braids up at night with a scarf. So I put it in a ponytail so the back can be protected properly too.
