I had this coconut oil will over 6 months and it still has a good amount left!
Over the duration of those 6 months any questions that I had was always answered in a timely manner. When I first received the coconut oil I received it within a weeks time which is nice and fast for me! They gave me tons of info on how to use the coconut oil and links to others using the oil on Youtube!
I love that I can use this for any purpose that I have! Plus it is USDA Organic...
The texture is like fresh soft non flaky grated coconut. It still had the thick consistency and when it was melted it was still a oil.

What I used my coconut oil for was just for my hair. Now they do have a coconut oil that is just for hair on they're site. I pre pooed, hot oil treatment, sealed, deep condition, & on my scalp. Every time I used it it gave me excellent results, so I was quite pleased with the oils overall purpose.

Hair Tip Tuesday

*DISCLAIMER* I DID NOT write this post. This is to inform you on healthy hair care while keeping braids.

Hey guys

This post was written but a natural hair guru WestNDNbeauty!!!

Original Post HERE

10 Do's & Don'ts While Wear Braids/Twist Extensions!

Now that warmer weather is upon us, many ladies — myself included! — are looking into braids and twists with extensions. This low-maintenance protective style can offer the styling versatility of long hair without the commitment (you can remove them and be back to TWA status within hours) or the upkeep (no detangling while they are installed?! HELLO!) Those who wear braid extensions can retain a significant amount of growth, if they are properly maintained. Incorporate these tips into your braided hair regimen to maximize the health and growth of your natural hair!

1. DO make sure your natural hair is in tip-top shape before installing braids or twists. Deep condition your hair on a weekly basis for at least 3-4 weeks prior to installing braid or twist extensions to ensure that your hair is moisturized and strong from the inside out. Consider doing a strong protein treatment (followup with a moisturizing DC to prevent brittle and/or dry hair) the week before your install. Remember to moisturize your hair daily and seal in the moisture with your favorite oil or butter!

2. DON’T braid the hair around your edges too tightly. Redness or white bulbs visible at the scalp OR headaches after your install are signs that your follicles are being damaged by tight braids. Try leaving out some of the hair, especially at the temples, or use larger sections with less braiding hair to lessen the damage.

3. DO use large, diamond-shaped parts if you are braiding your own hair.
Pencil-sized parts are the perfect size to avoid too much stress on your strands, and the diagonal parts will help the braids lay flatter.

4. DON’T use braiding hair straight from the pack. Braiding hair contains an alkaline base over the fibers that can cause mild itching or even hives on the skin/scalp in many braid wearers. This base is easily removed by soaking the hair in a sink full of water with one cup of vinegar added for at least 15 minutes. Be sure to dry the hair by laying it out on a towel before installing.

5. DO keep your hair and scalp clean and buildup-free while wearing braids.
Witch hazel or apple cider vinegar can be applied to a cotton ball and then dabbed in the parts between braids, or for a more thorough cleansing, add diluted shampoo to a spray bottle and thoroughly soak the scalp and braids. Clip or tie up the braids to avoid breakage from the weight of the wet hair, and leave the shampoo on the hair for 20-30 minutes. Rinse well with warm water.

6. DON’T forget to deep condition with your braids installed!
Use your fingers or a relaxer brush to “paint” deep conditioner onto the roots of your hair (NOT your scalp) and down the length of your braids. Cover with a conditioning cap or plastic bag and let the conditioner stay on your hair for 30 minutes or so. Rinse well, ensuring all the conditioner is removed from your hair. Alternatively, you can use a mixture of oils to “prepoo” before cleansing the braids as detailed above — simply mix your favorites, such as olive oil, jojoba oil or Jamaican black castor oil and apply to both the scalp and braids. Rinse and proceed with cleansing.

7. DO run a light oil (such as sweet almond, jojoba or coconut oil) down the length of each braid after cleansing them to seal in moisture.
If your hair feels especially dry, you can add a creamy leave-in to them as well. It is essential to also keep them moisturized between washes. Use a braid spray or leave-in every 3-4 days to keep hair supple and healthy. You can also make a braid spray from a 50/50 mix of water and aloe vera juice — feel free to add tea tree oil if your scalp is itchy or dry.

8. DON’T go to bed without covering your braids with a satin scarf or bonnet!
Just as you do when your hair is loose, continue to tie your hair up nightly, or at least sleep on a satin pillowcase. Cotton pillowcases can draw moisture from your hair whether it is loose or braided. Bun the braids, tucking in the ends, if you opt for the pillowcase.

9. DO indulge in regular scalp massages to soothe your scalp (and nerves!) and promote hair growth.
Jojoba oil most closely matches our own naturally occurring sebum, so it makes a wonderful carrier oil for your favorite essential oils, such as tea tree (soothing), peppermint (stimulating) or lavender (moisturizing/antibacterial) EO. Jamaican black castor oil is equally as healing and is especially good for promoting growth — see my list of its benefits here.

10. Most importantly…DON’T keep your braids in too long!!!
Loose braids caused by new growth and/or accumulating shed hair can cause the hair to become severely tangled or matted, resulting in extreme breakage or the need for a large cut. Get a touch-up (or redo your braids in sections, if you self-install) every 4-6 weeks if you plan on keeping your braids in for longer than 2-3 months.Following these tips can not only help your braids look newer longer, but will also ensure that your hair thrives while protected from the elements.

If you have any tips or product suggestions that have helped you retain significant length while braided up, please feel free to share below!

Hey Guys

Now I raved about this makers poo bar and also had the opportunity of interviewing the lovely owner of Purgasm Shop! Purgasm Has added some new items to the shop! I am very great full for the opportunity to review these items! See previous post here!

I was overly excited when I was sent some brand new items to test that she has added to her line.

Here's my review:

Suggested Liquids: Water, Aloe Vera Juice**, Coconut Milk**, Infused water (hair tea).

** We recommend adding boiling water to melt hair truffles and then thickening with normal temperature liquid of choice as heat may destroy beneficial properties of some liquids.

Raspberry & Pink Grapefruit Soy Candle

My Review:I know I always talk about this, but this is very important information when it comes to getting products off of online stores. My tuffles were a little melted due to the confined heat inside of the mail truck and mailbox.
Once it cooled down it did get hard again. You can do the same by putting it in the fridge for a couple of minutes. But to me this is very understandable.

I am always happy with Nicole excellent customer service. She always respond in a timely manner (next day) and always gives very detailed information!

The package for each product has her companies logo visible and very decoratively placed on her packages! As you can see the truffles were in a clear plastic bag and the rest of my items were in dark containers making the label stand out even more!

The truffles smelled like sweet chocolate. Hubby came in the bathroom and said 'Are u putting chocolate in my hair'. Me being sarcastic, because he knows my wash day routine, I said yes im putting chocolate in my hair. We'll he said umm can I lick your scalp..LMBO. He is so silly, but it lets you know that it smelled that good. The flaxseed gel & candle both have that light lingering of wild cherry scent that I truly love. Which is not overpowering & you can still smell it afterwards.

The texture of the truffles all depends on how much liquid you add to get the right consistency. For me I did get a soft thick texture that was easy to distribute throughout my hair. But take your time because it can get watery fast if you don't break it down first like the directions state.

Okay now for the truffles I mixed it with hair tea for my choice of liquid. I left it on for about a hour and 15 minutes. When I wash it out my hair felt thoroughly penetrated. Like the oils infused in to my hair shaft. I loved the feeling it really blow me awat. I never felt this before with a deep conditioner.
As for the flaxseed gel it gave my hair a nice fluffy hold. There were no flakes or residue which was a huge plus.

My Grade- A+

As for the giveaway this one will last to the 29th of June! I hope your enjoying my giveaway month.
Good Luck!!!!

Wash Day @ 42 weeks post

Hey guys!

Well I used a product mid week to style my hair. Well that wasn't a good idea because the next morning my hair was wet, heavy, and way to greasy. I was not happy at all. So I co washed to see if I could get it out.
That sure in h-e-double hockey sticks didn't work. Boy was I upset. My hair felt like product overload nastyness..
So I had to cleanse my hair with a cleanser. I used Jessicurls Hair cleansing Cream and for my initial use of it. I did a great job of cleaning all that nasty product out of my hair without out striping it at all. I didn't deep condition because that's what I was saving for today!

Here's how Today's wash day went:

*Deep Conditioned on dry hair with Purgasm Shop Wild Cherry treatment Hair Truffles. (Review coming Tomorrow) I left this on for an hour and 15 minutes. Then rinsed throughly with warm water.

*Next I used Aubrey Organics GPB Conditioner (I love this stuff every time I use it). I coated and work it threw out my hair for about 3 minutes.  Rinswd in warm water.

*Then I used Jamaican Black Castor Oil to grease my scalp. Applied my leave in which was Giovanni Direct Leave-in. Sealed with shea butter oil and proceeded to rod my hair with Purgasm shop Flaxseed gel.

Mini Review
As I Am DoubleButter Cream- 15$ 8oz 25$ 16oz (prices may vary)

Promises: Give your hair what it's asking for. The lubricity and moisture needed to feel and look Amazing! When your hait feels a bit rough and dry, and looks that way too, this is the jar to reach for.  DoubleButter Cream gets the job done.

Directions: Apply sparingly or liberally depending upon your hair's need for moisture, manageability, and vitality. Rub within palms and scruch onto hair gently so yhat coils and curls are undisturbed.  May also be used to set soft lustrous twist and twist out.

Ingredients: key ingredients- Water, Cocoa butter, Shea butter, Castor oil, Jojoba oil, Sweet Almond oil, Sugar Beet Root, Wheat Grem Oil, Vegetable glycerin, Wheat Protein, Panthenol, and Lanolin.

My Review: I have been using this cream for the past two weeks. I used it as a moisturizer and a styler and found it butter as a styler. I have used it with other products and by itself. It is much more moisturizing by itself to me. But still didn't cause product build up. It was nice and light on my hair. It gave me soft and defined curls when used as a styler. When I would moisturize my hair I would just focus on the hair where my 2 textures meet and it knocked that dryness out.

I will be repurchasing it because it is now apart of my staple creams!!!

My Grade-A+

Today was extremely easy.
Thanks for reading HHJ!

Review* #15 Kainat Josephiné

Hey loves

This product I never really heard anybody talking about it. Even though I'm relatively new to learning about products that have been out for a while. I found out about it on Facebook. I'm a sucker for a good body cream. So I received this product about a week after I had a few conversation over email with the owner who was extremely nice.

Kainat Josephiné Wax Free Moisturizing Cream: 4oz- 15$

Promises: Our mission is two fold: to help people look and feel their best without damaging their skin and body; and to bring all types of people together to express their individuality.

Directions: Apply a small amount of cream to the hair as a styling aid or moistu or to the skin as a refreshing balm. Great for locking hair, as a general pomade, or melted down as a hot oil treatment.

Ingredients: Lanolin, Honey, Natural Fragrances

My review: The package is very updated and chic. You can really tell that the Ms. Kathy took her time in her presentations of the container. I love it all around. The logo and the colors really blend well togather.

The customer service was on a rate of 1-10 I give it a 9. I was emailed timely and politely.

The texture of this product is a super thick consistency.  Like a mix of honey and wax not really much of a creme that I am use to. It is not easily spreadable especially on skin. I tried it on my son when he got out of the bath and got these first results. When I then tried it on my skin I felt coated in a nice way. Like the moisture was sealed into my skin.

The smell of the cream is sandalwood and it smells so light. I truly enjoyed smelling myself with this cream on. Every time I open it open I just have to take a deep whiff of it. It's not overbearing but is still strong enough to linger around for a while.

When using it on my hair I felt it was better used as a sealent because of how it coated on my skin and it did will. I used it during the week when I touched up my hair. It left my hair heavy. I might have used to much or a wrong combination. I think it just would better to follow directions and us a little to seal on my hair. I think it would be a better fit for ladies with thicker hair to use as moisturizer. I did also used it to slick down my edges and it did a great job on holding them in place. I would like to see how it would work when I flat iron my hair. As on their website is stated that it would be good for that!

Will I be repurchasing this product. I don't think so because of the price for a 4oz container.

My grade C+

Helpful Tip Tuesday

Hey Guys

There are many things you can do to keep your hair strong and healthy and to encourage natural hair growth.

The needs of your hair change throughout the year and this includes your natural hair products. Change your brand of shampoo for each season to keep the hair and scalp healthy and prevent shedding.

Getting enough protein is important to strengthen the cells of the body, including the scalp. Some good sources of protein include chicken, fish and other lean protein sources. When protein intake is not sufficient, the cells are weakened and the hair is not replaced as it is shed, which leads to thinning hair. The best hair loss remedies include taking care of your hair with a healthy diet. Include foods that are rich in iron, as iron deficiency anemia causes hair loss. Other sources of iron include steamed clams, lean red meat, soybeans, broccoli, tofu, dried fruit and cream of wheat. Hair shedding can be greatly reduced by including 100 mg of Vitamin B6, but don’t take too much more than this amount, as it can become toxic over a long period of time.

Choose natural hair products that include beta carotene, vitamin C and vitamin E. Beta Carotene is transformed to vitamin A in the body. This is an essential vitamin for the skin and hair. Others include vitamin C, zinc and L Cysteine to keep the hair and skin healthy and vibrant. As you begin to implement these healthy hair tips, you will notice a slow, but steady change in the health of your hair and scalp, as well as the rate of hair loss. It will take a few months for the hair and scalp to absorb the nutrients, but the change will be steady and your hair will regain its healthy appearance.

Wash Day @ 41 weeks Post

Hey ladies!

Happy Father's Day:)

Here's how today's wash day went:

Pre pooed for a hour with my spritz, seal with Honey Curls oil Blend, the put a mix if Elasta QP Ultra Hydration Deep conditioner, Aubrey GPB, and L'Oréal smoothing conditioner. Rinsed out in warm water. I don't have that much left of these three that's why I mixed the up so I could finish them off togather. This combination thought made my hair nice and soft.

I shampooed this was day because my home made custard did leave my hair with a residue kind of feel. I did find a cleansers that I will be trying next week as a alternative for shampooing. I use Shea Moisture's Moisture Retention Shampoo. I had a sample that I received in a swap. Being that I never tried this shampoo and so many people raved about it both relaxes and natural I could wait to give it a try. Well boy was it a big disappointed for me. My hair felt extremely stripped and a little hard. It did feel really clean though. I'm glad it was a sample and not a new bottle!!! Another thing I noticed is when you have a sample you can use the least out a product then when you have the full product, which is gone in no time!!!

Next I used Giovanni's 2chic Ultra Moist Conditioner which gave my hair back it's softness and moisture. (I love this product) Worked it into my hair for about 2 minutes and then rinsed it out in warm water. I forgot to make my hair tea yesterday so I didn't get to do this step!

I received a Komaza Care Honeycomb Hair Rejuvenator in one of my swaps this week and decided to test it out this wash day. I spray it all over my hair and worked it into my scalp and the cover it with my stape In control deep conditioner. Left this on with and without heat for about 1 hr & 45 minutes. Rinswd out in warm water and again I was meet with soft hair....

As for leavings I use Giovanni direct weightless leave-in. On my scalp I used the 4naturals Daily leave-in treatment,  sealed with a little bit of Crazy Naturals Oil, and the for a cream I used As I Am Double Butter Cream that I also received in a swap. Last I roded my hair up!

Obia Review* #14 & Giveaway (CLOSED)

Okay folks
This is the second giveaway of the month long giveaways of June!

If you didn't read the title and your like me all you seen was giveaway....lol... This one is sponsored by the wonderful team of OBIA Naturals Haircare. This one will run from the 9th and end at 11:59p.m. on the 15th!

Okay Reviewww!!
OBIA Naturals Trail Pack includes Curl Hydrating Spray(2oz), Curl Enhancing Custard(2oz), Curl Moisture Cream(1oz)- 10$ Coconut & Shea Shampoo Bar(4oz)- 10$

My review: Lets start with the packaging. I like that the black label brings out the pink in label. The jars are a nice size for the price, just wish the moisture cream was 2oz as well to really get the full experience of the product. I know it would be hard for women of thicker hair to get any use out of that sample.

As for customer service they were very timely in getting back to me and very detailed with the answers to my questions. I know I did ask another question that took a couple of days but I was apologies to for the delay in the response. I was also giving a tracking number in no time!

The pricing of their products range from 10$ to 18$ with the sizes ranging from 4 to 12oz. I honestly think the prices are great being that the shipping is 2.99$ FLAT RATE in the US and FREE for shipping for orders over 50$. Alot of companies have gone up on the shipping prices and this company made sure you still get a great bang for your bucks!!!:)

The texture and consistency of each product worked well for my hair. Each item was light to absorb and not to leave a lot of product on your hair. Them cream was creamy and the custards texture reminded me of lemon pudding.

The first one I tried was the spray. I used just the Curl Hydrating Spray alone to re-rod my day old hair. The next day when I took out the rods my hair was soft and my curls were well defined with just the spray. Next I tried using the Curl Enhancing Custard. I sprayed the sprayed sealed with a little jojoba oil and then roded with the custard. The next day when I took them out my hair was flaking. Now this could be because I already had product on my hair. When I did my mid week co wash using again just the spray and custard. My hair was once again given great softness and locked in alot of moisture! Down side is the I still seen flakes at my roots. Now for wash day is when I used the shampoo bar. I know I said I was going to try the no poo method and see how that does on my scalp. But the poo bar is all oils and conditioning properties. So I'm thinking okay more conditioning for my hair. Nope my hair did not like it. It felt extremely stripped and dry out even under water. But I will be giving it another try to see how it would work on my all natural hair. Plus I did use the cream before the custard and guess what No Flakes. I was truly happy about that because I find the custard to be so moisturizing!!!

Will I be repurchasing? I really like how the Curl Hydrating Spray did exactly what it was supposed to do which was hydrate, giving me soft curls. So will be buying that again.

Wash day @ 40 weeks

Hey guys

I can't believe it's been 9 months that I have been transitioning. I feel like I'm about to give birth to a all natural hair 'baby' If you get where I'm coming from...lol

So I co washed my hair Wednesday. I used the Giovanni Ultra moist conditioner, deep masque, weightless leave in. The sealed with jojoba oil and styler with Obia Natural Haircare Curl Enhancing Custard.

Pre poo overnight with a mix of Duafe Naturals Amla Moisturizer & homemade Spritz, sealed with JBCO, since I still have to restock on my Ynobe Pre Poo Treat, I used L'Oral Reparative smoothing conditioner.
Shampoo the next day with Obia Natural Haircare Coconut & Shea shampoo bar. I did this 2x. I wanted to make sure that I got the same affect and I wasn't wowed at all!
Then I sprayed my hair with CCs hair tea and coats that with Aubrey's GBP conditioner and that balanced everything out. Softness was back in full effect!
Deep conditioned with Jessicurls sample packs of deep conditioning treatment for 2 hours. Also I did my whole wash day rinses with cool water. This stuff was so conditioning the my curls were extra curly and I didn't even have to detangle because it gave me that much slip hunny!!!!!

Greased scalp with JBCO. For my leave in I used Giovanni weightless direct leave in. Sealed with Macadamia nut oil and then on top of that I used Obia Moisturize Cream.
I switched it up this week and did finger coils on my hair instead of my usual rod set. All I can say is huge fail!!! But all in all to day was a extremely easy day with no extra work or road blocks
How was your wash day? Thanks for reading!!!

Random Spotlight: Hairitage Hydration

For this Random Spotlight I have always admire these products from when I first seen them on Just Grow Already's blog. She spoke so highly of her hair care products. Being a mother and small business owner she is a inspiration to others that when you have a idea go for it or you will never know the out come. So I had the opportunity of asking Ms. Sheena a few questions and this is how it went.

 1. What was the reason for establishing your business?

The reason I established my business is because I really didnt have a choice. I was looking for work and I couldnt find any. I had to make my own job. So I started this Hairitage Hydration. Its been a labor of love. I Love working for myself. I love creating and learning and growing everyday. I love interacting with my fans on my Facebook page. So this is becoming much more then a business to me... its my life now.

 2. Do you have a goal for your business?

My goals for my business is to inspire other businesses, single mothers or anyone and tell them that you can do what you set your mind to. Nothing is hard nor impossible. Its rather easy. I work a lot with other people that are in the start up process and if I can inspire one person to let go of  fear and dont think, do try, just do it, that will make me happy.

 3. Are you natural? If so could you tell me about your journey?

I am natural. I had locs before natural was popping. I had them for about 6 years. I just combed them out about 3 months ago. So Im learning. I have not had much luck with doing my regualar hair, so I have been wearing my hair in Havanah Twist and Patra Braids.

 4. Do you have any tips for our follow readers on their journey?
Whipped Shea Butter - Queen Mix (4oz)
No, I need some tips from them on styling...lol.  I guess my tip would be dont fall in and out of fads. If you have been doing an ACV rinse for years and it works for you, dont stop doing it because some person suddenly says its bad for your hair. Know your hair. Do what works for it.

  5. What influence you to do what you do?
I influence me to do what I do. I wanted to be the person I looked up to... If I can look up to me, my daughter can look up to me and grow into someone she can look up to.

6. Is there anything else you would like your readers to know?

Hemp Nostalgia 8ozI would like the readers to know Create something everyday, let life be imperfect, be kind, use your imagination, have a grateful heart, be yourself, dream big.

Review #13 Green Goop Growth Creme

Hey ladies

This review I was itching to do. In the group that I am in on Facebook. The ladies are talking about it left and right. Doing research (google) on the product I didn't find any reviews so you know that this product is new but still ripe for the picking.

Anyway upon sending a few emails to Ms. Deborah.  I can tell you I was given great customer/blogger service. She was extremely detailed ^ with her product and very timely with shipping it out, with a tracking #, the next day!!

Okay DISCLAIMER: This product states it's a creme but being that it does have natural oils & ingredients. Traveling through shipping & heat. It does melt, like mines did. But Ms. Deborah did state this on her Facebook & email that it would do this.

Green Goop Growth Creme: 2oz-13 $ 2-2oz 24 $ 3-2oz 33 $ 4-2oz 42 $

Emollients and moisturizers soften dry hair and support length, slowing breakage and thinning. Chinese herbal extracts stimulate scalp, encourage hair growth and correct itchy problem scalps.

Here's a pic of how it looks when it's not in liquid form
My Review: I have been using this 1oz jar for almost a month now and I feel that I used it will enough to review. So like I stated in the disclaimer, my goop did not come as a creme more as a oil. I did put it in the fidge to get it back to a solid. But because of this Vegas heat when I went back to use it, it was back to liquid. I know that that was beyond the producer control so it was totally understandable to me. Anyway I used this product on freshly washed hair in all my recent wash day post with no product or anything on my damp hair! Then for the week up to this post I used it everyday. I know the instructions say use every day twice a day. But to each its own I say. The reason I didn't use it was honestly because of the smell. It was a little to strong to me at first but after I found a combination to tone it down I began to use it regularly. The smell is a earthy herbal tea smell. I perfer a more sweet smelling to my hair care products. Packing is very convenient for the size. The opening is big enough to get every bit of grain and oil out!!!! The texture is oily and gritty at the same time but once you rub it between your fingers or on your scalp it melts instantly. To me thats how you know it's packed with all kinds of organic rich goodness!!!! Like promised I could feel my scalp tingle and my pores opening. It did stop any itching that I had through out the week or for styling whit is a plus. I definitely want to get another batch before I put my protective style box braids back in because it will help a ton with the itch I get from them. My Grade- A-

Wash Day @ 39 weeks Post

Hey Guys

So Friday I had a bump on the back of my head. (Sorry for the TMI) When I asked Hubby to squeeze it for me he said why is your hair so greasy. Mind you I haven't greased my scalp in about 2 or 3 days. To me this means that instead of my hair taking/absorbing in the oils, its basically just sitting on my scalp/hair. Huge No

No  While on Pinterest my favorite past time. I started to read up about No Poo/Curly Girl Method. So I wanted to try to challenge myself this month by doing one.

Here's how Saturday's wash day went:

First I did another overnight pre poo treatment. Spritzed my hair with my homemade spritz, sealed with Honey Curls Honey Oil Blend, and that put the reminder of my Shea Moisture Deep Treatment mask. Rinsed out in cool water.

Shampooed 1x with Giovanni Tea Tree Triple Treat Invigorating Shampoo. Saturday was this first of the month which is also my clarifying day. Time to start the month off with a clean scalp. I made sure I massaged this on my scalp until I felt it tingle. That is one I only did this once.

Next I massaged for root to tip Giovanni Ultra Moist Conditioner. I really let this one sit in my hair as I worked it in and detangled. It really gave me another wash day of amazing slip. I could detangle, work knots out, and remove shed hairs with ease. I will be adding this to my rotating staples routine. Rinsed that out in cool water.

After that I sprayed my hair with CCs hair tea and coated it with Aubrey's Organics GPB Conditioner. Again I worked it into my hair while gentle detangling, working it from root to tip. I did this for about 3-4 minutes. Rinsed out in cool water.

I wrapped my hair up in a cotton baby towel to absorb up any extra water before applying my deep conditioner. This week I went back to my favorite Aunt Jackie's In Control Conditioner. I left this on with heat for a hour and 15 minutes. I let my hair cool down and then rinsed out the conditionwr in cool water.

For leave in I used Aunt Jackie's Knot on my watch. Comb it out a bit so it can go from my root to tip. Greased my scalp with Green Goop Groth Creme. Sealed with a mix of Honey Curls Honey Blend & Giovanni Ultra Moist Anti-frizz serum. Then styled with Aunt Jackie's Curl La La and using my rods.
For the majority of my wash day I used all staples and it definitely gave my hair moisturized softness.

Thanks for reading!!!
